The Sioux Falls bike trail

Howdy, friends.

I have logged a LOT of miles on the Sioux Falls bike path. The loop is just over 19 miles long, with various spurs here and there.

I confess to being mighty bored of it by the time summer is over. But still, it’s convenient, beautiful and exceptionally well-maintained — even in the winter.

We wrote a little celebration of it today. You can read that here.

And there’s a map here.

Or see a photo gallery by staff photographer and cyclist Elisha here.

Here are some of my favorite images from the trail:

Thank you so much for this! My family and I have been planning a cycling trip up in your neck of the woods later in the Fall. 🙂

  2. The photographs are drawing me in. I love that the Midwest has added so many wonderful trails.
