After several years of keeping a blog for work, I’ve decided to try a new approach. Wish me luck, which I’ll need learning any new program.
But I’m tired of keeping the same blog rehashing the same old running injuries — stress fractures that take forever to heal — and reliving the same old glory days — a 70-mile week, qualifying for Boston.
Philip and I welcomed a new baby late last year — Genevieve Ann, and I’m ready for a new start overall.
She joins her big brother, Jack.
We’re a family of four now, with all the chaos, sleepless nights, laughing and crying — from kids AND parents — that goes along with it. We’re slowly figuring out how to navigate it all, and fit in running, racing, reading and, you know, work.
So, here’s to 2011, the year of no injuries, happy kiddos, potty training, marathoning again and more.
