I’m about 50 pages in or so. So far, so good. Again, one thing I love about YA fiction is that it has to grab you quickly. My librarian friend Joan recommended this, and she has pretty good taste. I need to hustle through it, though, because it’s overdue.
I just finished “The Sisters Brothers” this weekend — and I truly hope someone is going to make that into a movie. Parts of it were so funny I had to call my dad and read it to him. He doesn’t read much anymore — he has lots of eye issues — but the man loves a good book about cold-blooded killers, the old west, whorehouses and gold-digging. Who doesn’t?
